[GERÜCHTE] A7 Processor könnte 31% schneller sein und auf 64-Bit Architektur beruhen

Der neue Apple A7 Prozessor im iPhone 5s wird bis zu 31 Prozent schneller sein als der aktuelle A6. Dies soll zumindest eines Tweets nach von Fox News Mitarbeiter Clayton Morris so sein. Dessen Quellen haben angeblich auch einen seperaten Chip für Motion Tracking gesehen.

Es ist zwar bisher nicht klar wie Apple Motion Tracking in seinen Geräten benutzen könnte, aber die Gerüchte sprechen von einer neuartigen Gerätekontrolle über Gesten etc., so wie es Samsung in seiner Galaxy S Serie benutzt. Folgende Zitate von Jony Ive bei Bloomberg könnten diese These unterstützen:

Longer term, Ive also has shown interest in altering how people control their computers. He has met with makers of gesture technology that lets people navigate their gadgets by moving their hands -- without touching the screen, said a personal familiar with those interactions.

Unabhängig davon schreibt 9to5Mac (Marc Gurman), dass Apple gerade 64-bit Prototypen des A7-Chips testet, die im 5s eingesetzt werden könnten.
